(1) Departing after breakfast from your place of stay, you are picked up by air-conditioned transportation.
Our experienced happy, qualified driver/tour guide will inform you of the fantastic areas as you travel through the little villages of Jamaica. You will not just be taken along the coast road but in fact will cross over through the middle of our country. Emerging on the south coast you will go through parts of our Cockpit Country high in the Mountains, rich in history of days of slavery. Even into the Maroon Country once called the “Land of Look Behind” - named so by the British Soldiers. At that time they fought the escape slaves which land was eventually given them by Britain to run as their own country.

(2) On arriving at the South Coast – a haven for adventurers, wanting to enjoy the lure of nature in settings that are natural, peaceful and unhurried yet exciting.
You will take a 5 miles safari boat cruise on the Black River wetlands of the South where the natural dye that came from the bark of trees was shipped to Europe for the making of fabrics. At that time the residence of this jungle area of Black River enjoyed the services of electricity even before New York.

(3) Have your cameras ready to capture various species of birds perched on trees by the river bank, waiting to make their catch. Crocodiles loll under the shades of the trees or tanning themselves on the river banks. See these crocodiles that will swim along-side the boat as the Captain of your vessel will call them by names as he feeds them by hand.
Your knowledgeable tour guide will give you an interesting history of this eco paradise and you should even see the fishermen in this area that will swim in the river with their spear guns and shoot a variety of fish of all sizes, Tarpon and Snook included, as fish weighing up to 70 pounds has been caught in this area. You will also see Egrets- a white gauling bird that is extinct in certain parts of the world.

(4) After your approximately 1½ hour boat trip your tour continues going over the old Iron River Bridge crossing the divide and onto the original old Bridge House Inn for your freshly cooked Jamaican meal right on the spot.

(5) Departing the restaurant you are now on your way through the mountains of St Elizabeth for your tractor driven jitney journey. This will take you through the plantation and horse farm and, on your way to the beautiful Y.S Water fall, be sure to take your camera, swimsuit and towels along. There are changing rooms and good bathroom facilities available.

(6) You will love Y.S. Water Fall, it is probably the most beautiful waterfall in Jamaica. You can climb and or swim at the base of the falls and enjoy the natural whirl pools as the water creates little Jacuzzi’s as the river keep flowing. There is also enclosed an olymptic size river pool set in the middle of this jungle area for your enjoyment. After your refreshing and stimulating, enjoyment there, you are on your journey back to your place of stay. You will arrive between 5-6 pm approximately.
